Power Message: Power Through #realsw30

1

I grew up in a football watching family. I learned to appreciate the power and strength of running backs like Jim Brown, Larry Csonka, John Riggins, and Earl Campbell. Some of you are too young to know who they are, but I am sure you recognize the power of running backs Christian Okoye and Jerome Bettis. These men were known as power running backs. They would get the ball in short yardage situations and run straight up the middle.

They would push with their powerful legs, stay low to the ground and drive into a mass of bodies in an attempt to get one, two or three yards for a first down or touchdown. The obstacle they faced was a wall of shear muscle mass and weight; two opposing forces pushing with each side trying to gain the advantage.

Inevitably, the power back would find an opening or stay behind one of their lineman to Power Through the line reaching their goal. Today the message for all of you is to Power Through. Although it may seem as if you are up against an inpenetrable wall, use your skills and your support to Power Through to your goal.
