I needed encouragement to keep going.

Starting a business can be a lonely venture. It’s your idea. Often you are the only one who can see the vision of what you want to build.

In any event, you continue to work laying a foundation first. Then you start framing. Growing a business is mentally and emotionally hard. It starts with a passion that cannot be satisfied through any other means.

That passion needs to be nurtured and encouraged. I began to write down thoughts and feelings that encouraged me. The result is found in these two journals.

Herein, you will find encouragement from me and places to write your own encouraging words.

Adult Bedtime Stories

Can’t Sleep? Well, I couldn’t for a long time. I was so stressed out that it would take me forever to fall asleep. Many nights I would wake up around 1, 2 or 3 o’clock. Wide awake, thinking about all the stuff that concerned me, I could not fall back to sleep.

I knew I had to figure something out. That is when I began writing these bedtime stories. Hey, if bedtime stories worked for children, why wouldn’t they work for adults?

These original stories contain interactive elements to help adults fall asleep and wake up rested, refreshed and renewed. The stories include deep breathing, attention focusing, light stretching  and mental images that relax. The tone of voice is calming and adds a relaxing mood.

I don’t intend to bore you to sleep. I give you an entertaining way  to fall asleep in 30 minutes or less. You also learn to fall asleep in you own way.

Take the ish out of selfish experience

You know you should be taking care of yourself, working out, relaxing and eating healthily.

But every time you try to do these things consistently, your plans get changed. Family and work come first. Soccer practice was canceled and you have to pick your child up from school. Your elderly parent has a doctor’s appointment and you must take her. An afternoon meeting lasted longer than expected.

That is not all. Someone wants or needs something from you all the time.

When can you get the “me” time you want and need?

The solution is found in Take the ISH Out of Selfish Experience and

The Take the ISH Out of Selfish Journal.
