Happiness is a mindset choice that we can make in spite of our circumstances. We can choose to be happy instead of allowing sadness and despair to overtake us. We can choose gratitude over ungratefulness. We can choose love over hate. We can choose understanding over misunderstanding. We can choose peace instead of war.
Most importantly, we can choose to live every day as if it will be our last. I don’t mean that we should approach the day with reckless abandon. We should approach life with curiosity avoiding judgment and negative opinions. We can be fully aware and present observing and experiencing every moment.
Living like there is no tomorrow is like savoring every moment.
