Thanks for sharing this segment. When I was an MSW graduate student, Dr. Erlene Grise-Owens would always start off our classes with a mindfulness moment. She would ask us to close our eyes, focus on our breathing, clear our minds, and be present for a few minutes. As a post-graduate, that lesson has stuck with me. I try to start each work day by taking time out to have a moment of peace, pray, and reflect on the day ahead. My goal is to be a better person and to help others. This is important for all of us to do.
